Elisabetta Soskic has roots in Serbia and Montenegro. Born in Italy and now lives in London. He is a model and dancer from Eastern Europe with a multicultural background. He travels all over Europe with an exotic face. The tattoo is her international language.
Learning ballet since childhood and after moving to London, Elisa became a professional dancer, but the city gave her new opportunities, including becoming a photography model.
For the enlightenment of tattoo art, Elisa admitted that most of the credit goes to her ex-boyfriend.
He took Elisa to participate in various tattoo conferences held in Italy and abroad, and met various tattoo artists with different styles. Since then, Asian element tattoos have become a source of inspiration for Elisa.
Elisa has been tattooing since she was 16 years old. She likes the delicateness and elegance that tattoos bring to her skin.
After participating in so many tattoo exhibitions, she learned a lot about tattoos, so she started to find a specific tattoo artist based on the tattoo style she wanted to have.
One of the inspirations Elisa’s preference for black tattoos is that meeting the Kalinga people in the north of Lusen when traveling to the Philippines. Kalinga tattoos are a disappearing tradition, and only older women continue to “maintain” their magical tattoo culture.
“There, I also had the opportunity to meet the last and oldest Kalinga tattoo artist: Whang Od.”
One afternoon, when I was drinking coffee with them, I asked what their tattoos meant. They told me that tattoos make them “become more beautiful”. So I immediately focused my tattoo design on the more conspicuous parts: arms and chest.
The wings tattoo on the belly is one of her favorite tattoos, representing that she is a free and supreme person.
“I am reading a book written by Osho (” The Book of Understanding: Creating your own way to freedom “), In his book, he says:” Use as much as possible ways to express yourself, don’t be afraid. ”There ’s nothing terrible, no one punishes or rewards you.“ Another meaning I think of wings is that I yearn to be reborn as a bird … if possible. ”
“But anyway, I don’t want to completely replicate the traditional lines. What we want to do is make the tattoo as personal as possible. I try to put the different elements together.”
Elisa is also a cool traveler.
“I’m often asked what my goals are, and my answer is what I ’m going through now: working and saving money so I can take off again. I can’t imagine living in the same place with the same people, doing The same thing. I want to learn and listen to the vision of others, grow, evolve, learn, and be inspired by everyone. This makes me feel more energetic than anything in the world. “
She doesn’t like to plan for the future, just want to enjoy every day. In the lush natural environment, staying on the beach surrounded by coconut trees is her favorite thing.
